Level 10 Kylie COS Vault and Floor

Kylie was 2nd on vault 9.175, 4th on beam with a 8.425(fall), 4th on floor 9.325 and 3rd AA with a 34.825.

Level 10 Emily COS Vault and Floor

Emily finished 5th on vault with a 9.0, 3rd on bars 8.05(with a fall), 4th on floor 8.75 and 3rd AA with a 34.25.

Level 8 Krystal COS All Around

Krystal finished 4th on vault 8.625, 6th on bars 8.55, 2nd on beam 9.0, 8.8 on floor and 5th AA with a 34.975.

Level 8 Alexis COS Bars, Beam

Alexis finished 4th on bars with a 8.975, 2nd on beam with 9.0. Her AA was a 34.975 which finished 8th.

Level 8 Meghan COS Bars and Floor

Meghan competed in her first full meet of the year and qualified to state. She was 2nd on bars with an 8.6, 1st on beam with 8.7 (w/a fall), and scored a 9.025 on floor. Her AA was 34.25.

Level 9 Erica Circle of Stars All Around

Erica had her best meet of the year. She won beam with an 8.85, 3rd on vault with 9.0, 4th on bars with 8.575, and 2nd on Floor with a 9.125. She placed 3rd AA with a 35.55

Level 5 and 6's hold their own against the competition at the Circle of Stars

Our Level 5 and 6's competed this weekend at the Circle of Stars meet and did very well against some stiff competition. In the level 5 competition Amber finished first in 3 events and the all Around Vault-9.275, Bars 9.2 and Beam 9.1 AA- 36.45. Cassi also came home with a championship as she took first place of floor in her age group with a 9.15. Here are the results for the 5's

Chicago Style at Navy Pier next up for our Level 5-10 Gymnasts

This weekend our Level 5-10's will compete in the Chicago Style Invite hosted by IGI down at Navy Pier. This meet is one of the largest meets in the country with 3 sessions a day Friday thru Sunday with 6 different gyms going on at the same time.

Super Sunday Tumbledown Success!

The GIJO Optional Team showed team spirit and support during this weekends meet! The girls did well and we had many improvements from the first meet. Meicie and Eleni added new tumbling passes to floor, and Tae Tae stuck her beam routine for a great score of 9.0! Tae Tae and Meice finished 1st and 3rd in the all-around respectfully.Keep up the hard work girls!

GIJO Level 5 gymnasts, Terra Garcia and Brandy Sterns, won first and second place in the All-Around this weekend at the "Super Sunday Tumbledown" meet! The meet was held at the Elite Sports Complex on Super Bowl Sunday. The girls had a great meet and represented Palmer's Gymnastics well. Both girls were in the 11+ age group.

Level 10's Kylie and Maggie qualify to compete in the Nastia SuperGirl Cup

Level 10's Kylie Fischer and Maggie Lundeeen qualified to the inaugural Nastia Liukin Super Girl Cup this weekend at the Wisconsin Dells Vacation Classic. Kylie and Maggie are 2 of 36 Level 10 Gymnasts competing in this cup which is being held at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. Each gymnast in the cup receives a Nastia designed leo and warm-up suit. They will also have the opportunity to meet Nastia and take a team photo. This is a wonderful opportunity for Kylie and Maggie. Good Luck and Go Palmers.
