Level 10 Maggie competed in her last Illinois State Meet and went out in season high fashion. Maggie had a little shaky start on beam but finished the meet strong with season highs on floor, vault and All Around. She finished 2nd on floor with a 9.725, 3rd on vault with a 9.625, and 5th all around with a 37.45. She also tallied a 9.3 on bars. Maggie has qualified to the 2011 Region 5 Level 10 Championships in Cleveland Ohio where she will try to qualify for this years Level 10 Nationals in California.
The 2011 competition season has entered into championship time. This weekend our level 6,9,10 team girls as well as our boys team compete in their respective state competitions. The level 6 girls team begin competition on friday and will conclude saturday morning. The level 6 team is coming off a 2nd place finish in their last meet and look well prepared to challenge the best in the state for a team banner and individual honors.
Our Level 9 and 10 gymnasts will compete at state starting saturday night and conclude sunday afternoon. This state meet marks the last state competition for our two seniors Level 9 Sam and Level 10 Maggie. These athletes are competing to get the qualifying score to the Regional Championships in Cleveland three weeks from now.
The boys team are also competing in their state meet this weekend. Competition begins Friday and will conclude on sunday. Our Level 8 and 10 team gymnasts are looking to score high enough to qualify to regionals in Columbus Ohio in three weeks. The Level 4 boys who have continued to improve all season will finish their 2011 meet season this weekend.

All of the level 3 girls recorded their season best all around scores at the "Go for the Gold" meet on Saturday, March 19th. We had some of the top placements with Taylor in 2nd, Mikaela in 3rd and Annie in 3rd in their age groups.
Our level 8 team finished the regular season with a team win at the Salto Invite in Wisconsin. Along with the best team score the level 8's posted the highest vault and beam team score as well. Here is a look at the vault and beam highlights.
Individually the 8's faired very well as we had 3 finish in the top 5 AA in their respective age groups as well as some event top 2 finishes.
Veronika and her best meet of the season thus far with a 3rd place finish on vault(8.95), 3rd on bars (9.45), 9.025 on beam, and 9.0 on floor to finish with a 36.425 and 5th place.
Kaitlyn scored her season high on bars with a 9.2 which finished 3rd, 1st on beam with a 9.325, 2nd on floor with a 9.2 and 2nd AA with a 36.125
Teagan finished 2nd on vault with a 9.2, 4th on beam with a 9.05 and 4th on floor with a 9.15 to finish with a 36.00 AA and 3rd place.
On floor Erin scored a 9.2 and Annalise scored a 9.15 and placed 5th

The level 8's have an official judged intrasquad at Palmers before competing at the State Championships in Bloomington the first weekend of April.
Our level 7 girls finished the regular season off in fine fashion each finishing 2nd place AA in their respective age groups. Kennedy finished 2nd on bars (9.25), 3rd on beam (9.3) and won Floor with a 9.5 to finish with a 36.85 in the AA(2nd).
Bailey finished 2nd on bars(9.4),3rd on beam(9.35), and 6th on floor(9.0) to finish with an AA score of 36.2(2nd).
